Rebecca Thienes has worked as a market editor, project manager, specifier, decorator, and stylist in the publishing industry in New York City for print publications like Interior Design Magazine, Country Living, Good Housekeeping, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Pursuits and online sites Glo and Billie. She studied interior design at Parsons The New School for Design.

Fiyel Levent holds a Bachelor in Architecture from The Cooper Union and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Literature from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Upon returning to New York from Scotland, she began working at a New York City architecture firm, Anik Pearson Architect. She has managed various architectural projects ranging from ground up buildings to apartment renovations. Her studio, Fiyel Levent Atelier, focuses on creating custom architectural and art installations, sculptural lighting and product design.

Rebecca and Fiyel have been collaborating since 2009 on various interiors projects throughout New York City. The scope of their work has included tasks such as fabric selections for pillows and upholstery, coordinating palettes for furnishings, art and accessories, specifying materials for kitchen and bath renovations and managing all details of projects from start to completion.
